CHARACTERISTIC SYMPTOMS

1 Foul-smelling breath.

2 Increased salivation, particularly at night.

3 Sweating that does not relieve the condition

4 Intense thirst

5 Trembling, such as during fever

6 Sensitivity to heat and cold

7 Swollen glands.

& Burning pains.

MODALITIES

Worse for night, changes in the outside temperature, aggravation, perspiration

Better for moderate temperatures, rest, morning

TYPICAL BEHAVIOUR

The child needing this remedy may be irritable, complaining, discontentedand oversensitive

Digestion

Intense thirst for cold drinks. Craves bread and butter Diarrhoea will beoffensive. The child may feel that she constantly needs to pass a stool.

Ears

Pain worse at night and accompanied by a thick yellow or blood streakeddischarge from the ear Swollen glands

Face

Mouth ulcers accompanied by offensive breath and increased salivation.

Fevers

Profuse perspiration that does not deliver relief. Alternating chills and fever. Child becomes overheated easily by the warmth of her bedSore Throats and Tonsillitis

Burning in the throat Swollen glands accompanied by severe pain on swallowing. Offensive breath accompanied by salivation, there may be ulcers onthe tonsils.
